Paper Proposal

In my paper, I will be arguing in favor of same-sex marriages. I will use the issue of human rights to show that all people are entitled to the practice of marriage; not just heterosexuals. Secondly, I will show that there is no difference between the contributions of straight and gay couples to society. Lastly, I will propose how our society would benefit from equality in marriage. I feel comfortable with the research I have gathered for this paper; however I will conduct more in the case of a deficiency.

So, you will call for what kind of policy? You need to formulate a policy or practice that needs to change and explain how/why this change would be beneficial to society. The way this topic proposal is formulated, it is not clear whether you want the attitudes to change or the legislation. In either case, the list of things that should be changed should be coupled with either why, or how, or both.

You chose a good topic because it is very contriversial and arguments can be made for a chance. However it seems like this is strictly a proposal and supports why it could it theory happen. I think you need a definitive policy change, and then you can say the benefits of that change and support it. That aside it seems like you have three good points to write about.

I agree with what has been said in that you seem to need to decide whether it will be a policy change or a proposal for the ideas of the country to change. After you make this distinction though i think you will have a good paper.
